Welcome
Welcome to Andrew David Hair.
We love creating beautiful hair and serving you in a calm, relaxing & enjoyable environment. By booking an appointment or using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions in full.


1. Appointments
Appointments can be made via our website, by phone, or in person at the salon.
To secure your booking, we require your full name and a valid contact number and/or email address. These details are used for appointment confirmations and reminders.
Failure to provide accurate contact information may result in missed communications, and we cannot be held responsible for missed or cancelled appointments in such cases.


2. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
We kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice for any cancellations or appointment changes.
If less than 48 hours’ notice is provided, we reserve the right to charge 50% of the booked service amount. Missed appointments (no-shows) may also be subject to full charges and may impact your ability to rebook in the future.


Appointment Reminders:
To help you remember your booking, we send reminders 72 hours (3 days) prior to your appointment using the contact details provided at the time of booking.


Exceptional Circumstances:
We understand emergencies happen. If you are unable to attend due to circumstances beyond your control, please contact us directly. Waiving of cancellation fees is only at our sole discretion.


3. Late Arrival Policy
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we reserve the right to either shorten or reschedule your service. This ensures we stay on time for all clients.
In such cases, a fee of up to 50% of the original appointment cost may still be charged.

4. Deposit Policy
Deposits or card capture may be required for colour appointments or large bookings.
The deposit amount is £50 or up to 50% of the total cost of your service.
Deposits are non refundable and are redeemable only against the booked service. Any late cancellations (Notice given less than 48hrs) or no-shows will result in forfeiture of the deposit.


5. No Refund Policy
All services provided by Andrew David Hair are non-refundable. By choosing to proceed with a service, you acknowledge and accept this policy.


6. Service Satisfaction Guarantee
We want you to leave the salon feeling your best. If you're not satisfied with your hair, we offer a complimentary tweak or fix within 7 days of your original appointment. You must notify us within 48 hours.
Conditions for complimentary adjustments:
- The original service must have been carried out at Andrew David Hair.
- The issue must be related to the original service. Any changes requested outside of this scope may be charged as a new service.
- If you’ve had your hair altered at another salon following your appointment with us, we will not be able to offer a complimentary adjustment.
- If you're on a colour plan that involves multiple sessions, we cannot offer a tweak or fix between stages.
- If aftercare instructions were not followed (e.g., washing hair too soon or using incorrect products), we may not be able to offer a complimentary fix.
Retail Products:
Products may be returned or exchanged within 14 days, provided they are unused, in original packaging, or proven to be defective.


7. Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to refuse service if:
- The individual is under 16 years of age (for certain services).
- The individual has health conditions that may interfere with or be affected by the service.
- Critical information relevant to the service was withheld.
- The individual has a history of missed or late appointments.
- There is inappropriate or intoxicated behaviour.


8. Additional Colour Charges
Our pricing includes a standard amount of colour. Additional charges may apply for:
- Long or thick hair requiring more product.
- Colour corrections or transformations needing more time or materials.
- The use of premium colour products.
All additional charges will be clearly discussed during your consultation.


9. Pets in the Salon
We love animals, but for hygiene and safety:
- Only small, well-behaved pets are allowed (please notify us in advance).
- Pets must be clean, vaccinated, and kept on a lead or in a carrier.
- Owners are responsible for their pets at all times. Disruptive animals may result in your appointment being rescheduled.


10. Child Supervision & Salon Environment Policy
At Andrew David Hair, we are dedicated to creating a relaxing, professional, and safe environment for all our clients. To maintain this atmosphere, we kindly ask that children who are not receiving a service do not accompany adults to their appointments unless they can be fully supervised by another adult.
While we are delighted to welcome children as clients for haircuts, our salon space is not designed to safely accommodate unsupervised children. Team members are unable to monitor children while performing treatments, and disruptions can affect the quality of service and the experience of other clients.
Why this policy is important:
- To ensure every client can enjoy a peaceful, salon experience.
- To protect children from potential hazards in the salon.
- To support our team in delivering focused, high-quality service.
Please understand:
- Children not receiving a service must be actively supervised at all times.
- Unattended children are not permitted in the salon for health, safety, and insurance reasons.
- If a child becomes disruptive or poses a safety risk, we may need to reschedule the appointment.


11. Clothing Disclaimer
We recommend wearing old or casual clothing during appointments. While every effort is made to protect your garments during colouring or treatments, Andrew David Hair is not responsible for damage to personal clothing.

12. Privacy Policy
At Andrew David Hair, we are committed to protecting your privacy.
- We do not share or sell your personal data with any third parties.
- Your information is used solely for:
- Booking and managing appointments
- Sending text and email reminders
- Communicating directly with you about your appointments or services
- Occasionally sending marketing emails about offers or updates
If you wish to stop receiving marketing emails, you can:
- Unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in the emails, or
- Adjust your preferences through your online account settings, or
- Contact us directly and we’ll update your preferences for you.


13. Independent Service Providers
Some of the professionals operating within Andrew David Hair are independent service providers (self-employed).
- Any appointments, pricing, services, and policies arranged with an independent provider are entirely their responsibility.
- Andrew David Hair holds no accountability or liability for services delivered by independent providers.
- All feedback, queries, or concerns relating to these services must be addressed directly with the provider involved.
- Independent service providers operate under their own insurance policies, and Andrew David Hair accepts no responsibility for any claims, incidents, or outcomes related to services performed by them.
- While independent providers may have their own cancellation, lateness, and deposit policies, clients are still expected to respect the general conduct and salon environment policies outlined by Andrew David Hair.
